Posted on February 3rd, 2010 1 commentWell done to all the boys that took part in our second time trail for the year and by the look of the results most beat there last time so I guess all the hard work is paying off so keep up the good work boys as it is going to be a big year for the Eels.
Unfortunately before the season starts we will lose a great player, a leader and just a great bloke, JENKO, for those of us who had the opportunity to play footy along side Jenks will understand exactly what I mean and even off the footy field great club person to have around any football club.I guess the other teams in the comp won’t missing and some won’t remember him because he hit them that hard they’ve lost there memories. Any way all the best Jenko in your adventures but again our lose but Gold Coast gain.

No Doubt mate, Jenks it’s been great to have you at our club. Your group of 5 that came to us a couple of years ago really lifted the level on the field and followed up by being some of the most dedicated clubmen off the field. You never missed a Saturday night or a club function and you were a big part of those nights being a success.
As Sayl’s said, we will miss you but I hope you go and show those QLD’ers what WA boys are made of. See you back here soon.
